A South African contractor has retold how he, his brother and father were ambushed by insurgents in Mozambique.

Wesley Nel, Adrian and father Greg witnessed almost constant shooting and shelling during the three days they were trapped inside the Amarula Lodge in Palma.

Wesley spoke of how they were later ambushed as they tried to make their escape and his brother died.
