The capital, Kyiv, has yet to be taken by Russian forces, but continues to be hit by a barage of attacks.

Late on Sunday, Russian forces hit a shopping centre near the centre of the city killing at least 8 people, destroying the mall and shattering the windows of every neighbouring high rise building.

The Russians claim it was being used by Ukrainian forces to reload missiles.

Sky’s Special Correspondent Alex Crawford travelled to the small town of Lyutizh north of Kyiv, which is the last community before the frontline and Russian held territory.
