Speaking on the latest scenes emerging from Kherson, the defence analyst said there was “no doubt” the recapture of Kherson was a “decisive victory”.

He said: “It’s great to see jubilation after eight months of Russian rule,” adding that “Ukrainian forces still have a lot of cleaning up to do”.
